SchoolCenter Picture All of Ms. Diane Bucci's art students will be participating in the 1st Annual Marion County Heritage Spirit Art Contest. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each grade level will then go on to compete in the county wide contest. Students are to select an historical event, person, or landmark in Marion County and create artwork in a 2D format (Drawing, Painting, Collage, Photography).  A drop-in reception for these students, their parents, and the public will be held on Sunday March 7, 2010 at the Marion County Museum from 3-5 PM. 1st place students from this contest will receive cash prizes and their work will be published in a poster format. The deadline for all entries is February 10, 2010.

The American Red Cross collects holiday greetings every year to send to soldiers and veterans away from home for the season. For Veterans' Day and Christmas, Ms. Dellinger's English II CP and English II Honors classes contributed to that worthy project and made the holidays brighter for almost seventy-five active and retired military members.
